Eddie has directed numerous musical theater productions, including The Emperor’s New Clothes; Hi, I’m Robin Thompson and What’s Wrong With All My Boyfriends; and The Mad Scientist’s Time Machine.
Mitchell has also written, directed and produced over a dozen short films for children including: Flowers on the Internet, The Mystery of Belgrave Hall, The Dream, The Big Wave, and The Bridge Dancers. He has received numerous awards for his films including seventeen VIC awards, three Museum of Radio and Television Awards, a Digital Voice Award, and a PBS Children’s Film Award.
In the field of music Mitchell has sung in several stage musicals, shows, and night clubs. He is currently working on the novelization of The Pearl Medallion, as well as a prequel and a sequel to the story.
Mitchell studied theater at Baylor University and Cal State Fullerton and film at UCLA. He has worked on several independent films including Caroline at Midnight and The Trip.
